Fire Retardant Head Wear

Fire Retardant Head Wear – Because your safety doesn’t end at the neckline.

“Premium FR headwear designed for maximum protection and comfort. Certified to EN ISO 11612, our balaclavas and liners fit perfectly under hard hats, offering a critical barrier against heat and flame. Essential PPE for high-risk environments.”

In a flash fire or arc flash incident, your face, neck, and head are the most exposed and vulnerable parts of your body. Standard headwear can melt or ignite, causing devastating injuries. Our Fire Retardant (FR) Headwear collection is designed to bridge the gap in your PPE, providing a seamless thermal barrier from the shoulders up.

Whether you are working in a substation, on a refinery, or on a high-voltage site, our FR headwear provides the essential protection you need without interfering with your other gear.

The FR Headwear Advantage:

Helmet & Hard Hat Compatible: Our balaclavas and liners are engineered with ultra-thin, high-performance FR fabrics. They provide a snug, “zero-bulk” fit that allows your hard hat or welding helmet to sit securely and safely.
Certified to European Standards: Every piece in our collection is rigorously tested to meet EN ISO 11612 (Heat and Flame) and EN 1149 (Anti-Static), ensuring it meets the strict requirements of Irish and EU safety regulations.
Extended Neck Protection: Many of our balaclavas and neck gaiters feature extended “bib” designs, tucking into your FR coveralls to ensure no skin is left exposed to thermal hazards.
Breathable & Moisture-Wicking: Protecting against heat doesn’t mean overheating. Our fabrics are designed to breathe, wicking sweat away from the face and head to maintain focus during high-intensity tasks.
Anti-Static Performance: Vital for ATEX-rated environments, our headwear prevents the build-up of static charge, reducing the risk of ignition in volatile atmospheres.
